, : Observations of the biology and parasites of postsmolt Atlantic salmon, Salmo salar, from the Norwegian sea. Journal of Fish Biology 42(6): 962-966

The main food items of postsmolt Atlantic salmon caught in the Norwegian sea during summer 1991 were Parathemisto spp. and herring (Clupea harengus). The most prevalent parasite species were: Chloromyxum sp., Apatemon sp., Hysterothylacium aduncum, A. simplex and L. salmonis.
