Occurrence of bacterial blight of sesame in Assam

, : Occurrence of bacterial blight of sesame in Assam. Indian Journal of Mycology and Plant Pathology 21(3): 289-290

Xanthomonas campestris pv. sesami caused severe blight of leaves and capsules of sesame at the University research farm during Sep.-Oct. 1990. The disease had not been reported previously from Assam or from any of the adjoining States of NE India.
