On modelling agricultural entrepreneurship

, : On modelling agricultural entrepreneurship. Indian Journal of Agricultural Economics 49(1): 79-87

This paper, in an extension of the conceptual thinking of Schumpeter, Knight and Schultz, proposes a method for measuring entrepreneurial ability which differentiates such ability from managerial ability. Entrepreneurial ability enables identification of the potential (maximum) output frontier while managerial ability enables maximization of profit, given the production frontier identified by the entrepreneur.
