Perennial weeds in conservation tillage systems: more of an issue than in conventional tillage systems

, : Perennial weeds in conservation tillage systems: more of an issue than in conventional tillage systems. Brighton crop protection conference, weeds Proceedings of an international conference, Brighton, UK, 22-25 November 1993 (Vol. 2): 747-752

In field trials conducted over 5 years in eastern Quebec, the effects were evaluated of various crop production systems, combining different rotations (barley monocultures vs. barley/red clover rotation), tillage practices (modboard ploughing, chisel ploughing and no-tillage) and weed management levels (low, moderate and high), on perennial weed control.
