Potential productivity of mixed cropping and intercropping of grasses under irrigation

, : Potential productivity of mixed cropping and intercropping of grasses under irrigation. Grassland of China ( 6): 40-44

Clinelymus dahuricus, Bromus inermis, C. sibiricus and Medicago sativa were sown in mixtures or intercropped under irrigation with 1.25-2.25 t FYM/mu in a block area of 30 cmsuperscript 2 in desert steppe, Nei Menggu. The highest hay yields were 1.57 t/mu in the mixture of M. sativa + C. sibiricus under irrigation with 1.25 t FYM/mu and 1.70 t with intercropping of M. sativa + C. sibiricus with irrigation and 2.25 t FYM/mu.
