Prediction of antinutritional factors in pea by near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS)

, : Prediction of antinutritional factors in pea by near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS). Recent advances of research in antinutritional factors in legume seeds: 101-105

The samples tested allowed for great potential variation (varieties, isolines, exotic germplasm). Correlations between the results obtained with NIRS and reference methods (r2 = 0.87 and 0.98) showed that NIRS can be successfully used as a rapid non-invasive method for analysing the content of tannins and phenolic compounds in intact or ground seed.
