Variation of mineral contents of soils of the Black Forest after recent acidification

, : Variation of mineral contents of soils of the Black Forest after recent acidification. Mitteilungen der Deutschen Bodenkundlichen Gesellschaft ( 68): 289-292

Experimental data on minerals according to soil particle size are presented from a stagnogley in the Black Forest, Germany, which show that variation in weathering in the Holocene can be measured with quantitative mineral analysis as well as by pedochemical balances. Determinations over a short term of ~ 20 years are possible, when multi-sampling and the inclusion of greater grain sizes reduce the error of a single analysis.
