Development and application of a complex screening method for the study of biologically active sesquiterpene lactones

, : Development and application of a complex screening method for the study of biologically active sesquiterpene lactones. Planta Medica 59(7): A579-A580

A total of 560 plants, representing 161 genera and 361 species of the Asteraceae family, were screened for their qualitative and quantitative sesquiterpenoid lactone contents, using a combination of spectroscopic and chromatographic analyses.
