Equilibrium moisture content of wood in Portugal

, : Equilibrium moisture content of wood in Portugal. Silva Lusitana 1(2): 141-155

This study reports the annual and monthly averages of the variation in the equilibrium moisture content of structural lumber in standard outdoor drying conditions in different locations in Portugal. The results indicate the in Portugal correct air-drying techniques may yield lumber with an average moisture content value within the range suggested for many wood products to perform successfully during use.
