In a field trial in Manipur in kharif 1991, 10 rice cultivars were given 0, 30 or 60 kg P2O5/ha. Mean grain yield was not significantly affected by P fertilizer, while among the cultivars yield ranged from 2.25 t/ha in IRAT-141 to 3.70 t in RCM-11.
