The occurrence of white peach scale, Pseudaulacaspis pentagona (Targioni), in tea fields and its chemical control. II. Monitoring some parasitic wasps using sticky traps

, : The occurrence of white peach scale, Pseudaulacaspis pentagona (Targioni), in tea fields and its chemical control. II. Monitoring some parasitic wasps using sticky traps. Proceedings of the Kanto Tosan Plant Protection Society ( 41): 253-255

The use of sticky traps hung on the branches of tea plants was evaluated as a method for monitoring parasitic wasps on the diaspidid Pseudaulacaspis pentagona. Four species of parasitic wasps were trapped in this way: 2 encyrtids, including Arrhenophagus chionaspidis, and the aphelinids Prospaltella berlesei and Marietta carnesi, a secondary parasitoid.
