Toxicity of neem extract fractions against mango leaf hoppers Amritodus atkinsoni in comparison with dimethoate and their effect on some enzymes

, : Toxicity of neem extract fractions against mango leaf hoppers Amritodus atkinsoni in comparison with dimethoate and their effect on some enzymes. Proceedings of Pakistan Congress of Zoology, vol 12: Twelfth Pakistan Congress of Zoology held under auspices of the Zoological Society of Pakistan Government College, Lahore, April 1992: 477-486

The toxicity of neem extracts to Amritodus atkinsoni was compared with that of dimethoate in the field on mangoes in Pakistan. The LC50 of dimethoate was 0.14%, with decreased prophenoloxidase activity up to 52% and inhibited cholinesterase activity. The LC50 for RBA was 0.4%, with 15 and 19% prophenoloxidase and cholinesterase inhibition.
