A prediction system for growth and yield of black wattle (Acacia mearnsii de Wild) populations

, : A prediction system for growth and yield of black wattle (Acacia mearnsii de Wild) populations. Revista Arvore 19(3): 358-381

Based on data from 328 temporary sample plots, from stands ranging from 22 to 136 months of age, in different stand densities and on different sites in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, a yield and growth function was developed for Acacia mearnsii. The system was based on the Weibull probability density function, which has 3 parameters: a, a location parameter; b, a scale parameter; and c, a form parameter.
