, : A preliminary report on larval mosquito survey in Dibrugarh town of Assam. Journal of Communicable Diseases 28(1): 62-63

In 1994, potential breeding sites for mosquito larvae in Dibrugarh, Assam, India, were identified as polluted drains with 502 larvae (Culex quinquefasciatus 99.6%, C. fuscanus 0.4%), unused tyres with 288 larvae (Aedes aegypti 76.4%, C. quinquefasciatus 23.6%), unused battery cases with 210 larvae (A. albopictus 97.2%, A. aegypti 3.6%, C. quinquefasciatus 1.4%) and damaged iron containers (A. albopictus 88.2%, A. aegypti 11.8%).
