Analysis of minerals in date palm fruit under different nitrogen fertilization

, : Analysis of minerals in date palm fruit under different nitrogen fertilization. Fruits Paris 50(2): 153-158

The effect of N (annual application of 0, 300, 600 or 900 g N/tree), applied as ammonium nitrate (33.5% N) 4 or 6 times/year during 2 growing seasons (1988-90), on the mineral content of developing fruits of date palms (cv. Khasab) was investigated. N application had no significant effect on fruit N content except during later stages of development during the second season. N application also had no effect on fruit P and K concentrations.
