Analysis of soluble antigens from the adult and newborn larvae of Trichinella spiralis with SDS-PAGE

, : Analysis of soluble antigens from the adult and newborn larvae of Trichinella spiralis with SDS-PAGE. Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science and Technology 25(4): 2829

After SDS-PAGE of soluble antigens from mature T. spiralis, 26 protein bands with molecular weights between 2 and 30 kDa were observed following Coomassie brilliant blue staining. The primary protein bands were located at the middle of the electrophoretogram. 11 protein bands of soluble antigens of newborn larvae of T. spiralis were also observed after SDS-PAGE. These had molecular weights of between 2 and 518 kDa and those of 60 to 85 kDa and 54 to 58 kDa were fusion proteins.
