Effect of culturing chick embryos in recipient egg shells on activity of bone alkaline phosphatase

, : Effect of culturing chick embryos in recipient egg shells on activity of bone alkaline phosphatase. Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica 28(1): 44-48

Recipient shells were prepared by cutting off the blunt end of double-yolked eggs and discarding the contents; those of fertilized eggs that had been incubated for 72 h were then transferred. The chick embryos in the recipient shells were incubated until day 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or 20, when the alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was determined in the femur.
