High rates of solar radiation - an important natural stress factor of the photosynthetic activity of montane Norway spruce stands

, : High rates of solar radiation - an important natural stress factor of the photosynthetic activity of montane Norway spruce stands. Lesnictvi Forestry 42(6): 271-276

The results are presented of an analysis of the influence of an excess of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) on function of the assimilatory apparatus of Norway spruce (Picea abies) during summer at a site near the Bily Kriz Ecological Station in the Moravskoslezskych Beskydech Mountains, Czech Republic. The strong influence of a PAR excess on values of parameters of photosynthesis was observed.
