, : Humus condition of ordinary chernozem and yield of spring wheat with application of organic fertilizers. Agrokhimiya ( 2): 58-62

In a trial in the Bashkir Trans-Ural forest steppe region, spring wheat grown in 1991 after fallow was given no fertilizers or 30 t green manure (peas, rape or Melilotus sp.), 40 t FYM or 5 t wheat straw/ha. The organic fertilizers were ploughed-in to a depth of 23-25 cm when the green manure crops reached their maximum vegetative growth in 1990.
