Results of trials on different training systems of pear trees (main leader, palmette, Tatura, Tesa and Solen) at different tree densities and the responses of cultivars Williams (Williams' Bon Chretien), Doyenne du Comice, Conference, Harrow Sweet, President Heron, Abbe Fetel, Delbarexquise d'Hiver, Concorde and 9 red or bicoloured cultivars are reported.
