In trials carried out in 1991-93 on 8- to 12-year-old apple trees of the cultivars Gala, Lobo, Empire and Spartan, Pommit Ekstra 110, a mixture of low concentrations of NAA-potassium salt, urea and an adjuvant, generally caused a similar extent of fruitlet thinning as Pomonit R-10 (the most commonly used agent).
