Resistance of oxadiazon to photodecomposition and improvement of its application techniques

, : Resistance of oxadiazon to photodecomposition and improvement of its application techniques. Plant Protection 22(1): 10-12

In a study on the tolerance of oxadiazon to photodecomposition, 60 barnyard grass (Echinochloa sp.) seeds and 10 rice seeds were sown in iron cans (10 cm diameter) and covered with 1 cm fine soil before 25% oxadiazon was applied at 2.5 litres/100 msuperscript 2 and exposed to sunlight for 0-50 days. Oxadiazon EC at 2.5 litres/100 msuperscript 2 gave 100-83.5% control of barnyard grass after exposure to sunlight for 20-40 days.
