This volume contains the major findings and conclusions of a study on the competitiveness of the cotton sectors of 45 countries outside the francophone zone, using country-by-country comparisons of inputs and factors of production costs, seed cotton production, ginning and marketing costs, revenues and break-even points. Principal factors contributing to competitiveness are identified from an analysis of data for production, yields, and export of cotton and cotton products.
