Faba bean seeds with 25% moisture content were treated with benomyl, carbendazim and thiophanate-methyl, inoculated with spores of Fusarium moniliforme (Gibberella fujikuroi) and stored at 80% RH and temp. 10 and 25 degrees C. The fungicides significantly increased viability and seedling respiration of infected seeds stored at 10 degrees for up to 3 months.
