The Round Table was attended by 64 participants from 24 countries of which 15 were Central/Eastern European countries. Eleven working papers and 14 country statements or upgrades were presented. The aim was to give decision makers and scientists the opportunity to present the livestock situation in their countries, to discuss and compare experiences, successes and shortcomings and to find solutions to the problems faced.
