, : The preparation Cydem (Tsidem) for the treatment of demodectic mange in dogs. Problemy veterinarnoi sanitarii i ekologii: sbornik nauchnykh trudov chast' 2 (Part 2): 95-96

Cydem (a synthetic pyrethroid preparation) was tested against natural Demodex canis infection of dogs in Russia. When used in concentrations of 0.2-0.6%, cydem was 100% effective after one application and in a concentration of 0.1% it was fully effective after a 2nd treatment, 7 days later. The dogs were free of infection 30 days after treatment.
