The relationship between the content of nitrates and trace elements in the forage of Italian ryegrass

, : The relationship between the content of nitrates and trace elements in the forage of Italian ryegrass. Acta Universitatis Agriculturae, Facultas Agronomica 42(1/2): 103-110

In pot trials with Lolium multiflorum Jitral, the effects of application of DAM-390 liquid fertilizer containing N with or without Mo, Mn or Cu on forage chemical composition was studied. The fertilizers were applied before the 1st cut at either before sowing or when leaf area was fully developed, and for future cuts corresponding times of application were 3 d after the previous cut or 10 d before the next cut. Fertilizer application date had no effect on forage composition.
