What is new in pig AI

, : What is new in pig AI. Rivista di Suinicoltura 38(1): 33-35

Two developments are considered in this article: multiphase insemination and packaging of semen into sachets. Diluents for semen stored at 16 degrees -18 degrees C are also discussed. In multiphase insemination, seminal plasma is introduced into the uterus prior to insemination, the latter being followed by the introduction into the uterus of 10 ml synthetic gel to prevent leakage of semen.

With the use of a histochemical technique, 5'-nucleotidase activity was examined in peripheral blood lymphocytes from patients with primary hypogammaglobulinemia.
