A framework for evaluating BMP effects on N discharges from watersheds

, : A framework for evaluating BMP effects on N discharges from watersheds. ASAE Annual International Meeting, Orlando, Florida, USA, 12-16 July, 1998: 21 pp.

A framework for evaluating BMP impacts on watershed-scale N discharges was proposed. The proposed framework utilizes the field and watershed scale N mass balance modeling approach to evaluate impacts of BMPs on surface and groundwater N concentrations. Procedures for constructing field and watershed-scale N and water balances, utilizing 10 years of water quantity/quality, soils, and land use data, were presented in this paper.
