Isolates were collected from the Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS), Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST), Tapin, and Tanah Laut districts of South Kalimantan during 1992-1993. The pathogenicity of E. tenella isolated from 2-week-old chickens in HSS district was higher than isolates from chickens of the same age in the other 3 districts.
