Appropriate training: is flexibility the key?

, : Appropriate training: is flexibility the key?. Appropriate Technology 25(3): 10-12

It is noted that training is a fundamental aspect of both technology development and small business. The paper describes the key factors that must be considered in order to make training appropriate for both the particular application and the trainees' development. Issues discussed are: appropriate technology and appropriate training; planning a training initiative; and empowering trainees.
