Biological damages caused by gamma rays in Phaseolus vulgaris L

, : Biological damages caused by gamma rays in Phaseolus vulgaris L. Journal of Research, Birsa Agricultural University 10(1): 42-47

The effect of gamma rays on seed germination, plant survival, chlorophyll mutation, lethality, injury and reduction in fertility in two cultivars of Phaseolus vulgaris (Giant Stringless and Hur-120) were studied. Biological damage was found to be dose dependent in the M1 and M2 generations.
