, : Multi-resource forest inventory and environmental accountability: a case study in Liguria. Monti e Boschi 48(4): 5-12

Results are presented of a detailed forest inventory undertaken in the region of Liguria, NW Italy. Particular reference is made to the process of environmental assessment of forestry resources at the regional level, which used a GIS system to record and manipulate a diverse set of physical and topographical data, as well as economic information collected in a variety of ways (Travel Cost Method, Contingent Valuation, reconstruction costs, opportunity costs, etc.).
