Photosynthesis of 'Valencia' orange grafted on four rootstocks and submitted to water deficit

, : Photosynthesis of 'Valencia' orange grafted on four rootstocks and submitted to water deficit. Bragantia 57(1): 1-14

CO2 assimilation rate and leaf water potential were analysed in potted 18-month-old Valencia orange trees grafted on 4 rootstocks (Rangpur lime (Citrus limonia) Cravo, Poncirus trifoliata, Troyer citrange and Cleopatra mandarin). Plants were submitted to water stress until the CO2 assimilation rate was negligible when they were rehydrated. The hydraulic conductivity of the rootstocks was also analysed.
