Some studies on copper element with special reference to the effect of copper deficiency and treatment on reproductive organs of female rabbits

, : Some studies on copper element with special reference to the effect of copper deficiency and treatment on reproductive organs of female rabbits. Egyptian Journal of Comparative Pathology and Clinical Pathology 10(1): 53-63

The effect of different levels of copper on the reproductive organs of female rabbits was investigated. A total of 45 White New Zealand female rabbits were divided into 3 equal groups: group 1 received an adequate level of copper in their diet (10 micro g/g of diet); group 2 received a marginal level of copper (6 micro g/g of diet); and group 3 received a diet which was copper deficient (4 micro g/g of diet).
