, : Status of the lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) germplasm collection in Bulgaria. Plant Genetic Resources Newsletter ( 118): 62-63

The Institute for Introduction and Plant Genetic Resources (IIPGR), Sadovo, maintains a collection of 512 lentil accessions originated from the main lentil-growing regions: Asia, Africa, Europe and USA. Landraces are represented by 24 accessions collected from different parts of the country. During the period 1995-97, 144 accessions were evaluated. The evaluation data were collected following the international IBPGR descriptors.
