Studies on cytotoxic effects and morphological changes of deltamethrin treatment on Aedes albopictus C6/36 cell lines

, : Studies on cytotoxic effects and morphological changes of deltamethrin treatment on Aedes albopictus C6/36 cell lines. Acta Parasitologica et Medica Entomologica Sinica 3(2): 94-99

MTT chromatography was employed to study the cytotoxic effects and morphological changes produced by deltamethrin on A. albopictus C6/36 cell lines and for observing the regeneration of C6/C36 cells after deltamethrin exposure. The LC50 was 74.88 micro g/ml after deltamethrin exposure for 24 h. When deltamethrin concentration was >20 micro g/ml the morphological changes of the C6/36 cell monolayer included cell polymorphism, spatium, scobinate and the presence of granules in cytoplasm.
