The aeration, with and without misting: effects on heat stress in dairy cows

, : The aeration, with and without misting: effects on heat stress in dairy cows. Livestock environment 5, Volume 2 Proceedings of the Fifth International Symposium, Bloomington, Minnesota, USA, 29-31 May, 1997: 907-914

A trial was carried out on 3 groups of cows (9 cows/group) raised in a free barn to evaluate the effect of ventilation with or without sprinkling. The first group was used as a control (C), the second was raised in a box with ventilators (V) and the third was raised in a box with ventilators and sprinklers (VS, 6 min of misting and aeration followed by 2 min of aeration).
