The review of studies in vector ecology in Russia

, : The review of studies in vector ecology in Russia. Bulletin of the Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine in Gdynia 47(1-4): 73-83

Studies on vector ecology (e.g. of malaria, Lyme disease and tickborne encephalitis) conducted in the Ural Region and elsewhere in the former USSR and in Russia in 1970-95 are reviewed. For many years, information on the incidence of parasitic and vector-borne diseases in the Soviet Union was not widely available.
