World reference base for soil resources

This is one of three publications prepared on behalf of the Working Group Reference Base of the International Society of Soil Science highlighting the present-day state of the art of the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB). The first two publications comprise an introduction and an atlas, respectively. The third, presented in this volume, is a technical manual, specifically for soil scientists.
