The presence and the distribution of the disorder 'drippy nuts' ('melazo', a form of oak decline) in the evergreen oak (Q. rotundifolia) in Badajoz, Spain, was determined. There was great variability in the incidence of the disorder between the observed populations in La Parra and Villar del Rey (0% incidence) and in Ahillones (100% incidence).
