Effect of two conditions of soil humidity after harvest in development of grape vine cv. Sultanina

, : Effect of two conditions of soil humidity after harvest in development of grape vine cv. Sultanina. Agricultura Tecnica Santiago 58(2): 123-132

The effect of a complete drought after harvest was compared with an irrigation treatment when 50% available soil moisture was reached on grape, Thompson seedless, in Chile. The experiment was established on a vine planted in 1978 with planting distances of 3.5 and 3.0 m. The following parameters were assessed: soil moisture, budding, bud growth, grape size, weight, soluble solids content, productivity and pruning. No statistically significant differences were found between the treatments.
