, : Identification of mungbean entries against bacterial blight. Crop Research Hisar 18(2): 290-291

Bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. vignaradeatae (X. axonopodis pv. vignaeradiatae) is a serious disease of mung bean (Vigna radiata). Management of the disease by spraying is not economical, hence the use of resistant genotypes is the most effective method. About 149 genotypes were tested against X. campestris pv. vignaradeatae. The highest disease intensity was recorded in Pusa 105, while disease intensity ranged between 11.02 to 22.62%. No genotype was found to be immune.
