Implement for smooth ploughing and deepening of the arable layer

, : Implement for smooth ploughing and deepening of the arable layer. Tekhnika v Sel' skom Khozyaistve ( 2): 17-19

An account is given of the development of frontal ploughs for smooth ploughing in the cotton growing areas of Uzbekistan. These ploughs fully invert the soil slices and deposit them in their own furrows without any lateral displacement. This process is analysed, and results show that these ploughs work well to a depth of 25-27 cm.
