The basic trend in the current modification of agrarian policy is towards strengthening the role of the state in ensuring the country's food supply. This requires development of a strategy for providing jobs in the agroindustrial complex (AIC) as a factor in the stabilization of the farming sector, and improvement of the level of employment in the countryside, and maintaining incomes at an acceptable level.
