Molybdenum nutrition of cowpea in relation to potassium and molybdenum fertilization

, : Molybdenum nutrition of cowpea in relation to potassium and molybdenum fertilization. Indian Journal of Plant Physiology 4(3): 227-228

A greenhouse experiment was conducted for assessing the effect of various levels of K and Mo on Mo nutrition of cowpeas. Application of K and Mo increased the dry matter production of cowpeas up to 30 mg K2O kg-1 soil and 1 mg Mo kg-1 soil. Uptake of N, P, K and Mo increased significantly with K application. Application of Mo enhanced uptake of N, P and Mo but decreased that of K.
