Psychopathologic and zoological aspects of acarophobia

, : Psychopathologic and zoological aspects of acarophobia. Zentralblatt fur Hygiene und Umweltmedizin 202(5): 425-432

Four case reports of women with acarophobic tendencies were addressed. This included a 96-year-old German woman convinced that her flat was infested with Blattaria; a woman with an Acheta domesticus that was supposedly destroying her house; a 75-year-old woman with an imaginary Mus musculus infestation and a 50-year-old woman with a case of delusional parasitoses caused by Anoplura.
