Spatial variation of exposure duration to low temperature in hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusa Endl.) forest damaged by resinous canker disease

, : Spatial variation of exposure duration to low temperature in hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusa Endl.) forest damaged by resinous canker disease. Journal of the Japanese Forestry Society 82(2): 200-203

Stem temperature was measured at various heights along a hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusa) trees which had been damaged by resinous canker disease during winter and spring (in Japan). The sum of time when a stem temperature was lower than a given criterion was defined as an exposure duration to low temperature conditions. The spatial variation of the exposure duration was analysed statistically with Quantification I.
