Sugar beet pulp silage

, : Sugar beet pulp silage. Metodiky pro Zemedelskou Praxi ( 15): 27 pp.

The use of sugarbeet pulp with DM above 18% in silage making is discussed. It was found that fresh pulp, a few hours after leaving the pulp-press machine, should be used and that it is necessary during storage to keep silage under anaerobic conditions. Beet pulp stored under these conditions showed good quality and palatability throughout the year.
