, : An economic analysis of income and employment in the cultivation of chrysanthemum flower in West Bengal - a case study. Journal of Interacademicia 6(4): 552-557

Fifty growers of Chrysanthemum flower in Midnapore (East), West Bengal, India, were interviewed to analyse some economic aspects of the cultivation of this flower. The study pertains to agricultural year 1992-93. Results revealed that the cultivation of Chrysanthemum is a good source of gainful employment for family labour. Farmyard manure, oilcake, and chemical fertilizers are the main inputs in the cultivation of this flower.
